The completed Administration, Research and Library building, which is
the first phase of a three phase masterplan, is sensitively designed around
established gardens and woodland. Our brief from the client stipulated
that the new building should unambiguously reflect in appearance the clients
stature without resorting to ostentation or domination of the site.

It should integrate sympathetically with its surroundings, exploit the
natural amenities of the site and allow maximum internal flexibility to
cater for redistribution of space in a constantly changing organisation.
