The proposal for Siemens site development comprises two principal buildings
enclosing semi-public landscaped courtyard dominated by shallow water pool and
curvilinear steel sculpture. The two main buildings have been conceived as complementing
each other both in form and in function with Building I being primarily residential
and horizontal in form and Building II of a single office use with strong vertical
emphasis. Material treatment and detailing plays a pivotal role in uniting these
two elements and providing the high quality finish appropriate for the landmark site
within this rapidly developing south Dublin location.
