Our Client, IPUT – Irish Property Unit Trust, whose principal activity is the ownership and management of properties of behalf of pension funds, charities and other exempt funds, requested FKP to complete a 1,583 sq.m. design and fit-out of their new Headquarters on Hume Street Dublin 2.
The building completed in the late 1970′s was a second generation office building which required complete renovation to be a viable commercial entity. FKP, with the design team, oversaw the transformation of this building from its previous state to a state of the art office.
The building now incorporates a sustainable active chilled-beam air conditioning system, increased floor to ceiling heights improving user comfort and marketability, new sanitary facilities and lift. As part of the works the building is now compliant with all relevant Building Regulations, in particular accessibility, fire and sustainability.
The high-end finish requested by the client consists of contrasts in material textures resulting in a lush sophisticated finish representative of IPUT’s strive for quality in business.
